BBC 1 Make it at Market
Hi all! and welcome to my first blog post! This website has only been up and running for a short amount of time so I thought it was most appropriate to start the blog off with a belter! On the 2nd January 2023, BBC 1 launched their new series, Make it at Market, featuring ‘The Repair Shop's’ Dom Chinea, who works with a team of business and craft experts to help a group of budding entrepreneurs make a living from their crafting hobby.
I was very fortunate to be a part of this series, and will be featuring on 19th January 2023 at 4:30pm, along side jewelry maker Soul Visionary Jewels! On the series you will be able to see my first collection I created for my brand called the Broadstairs collection (It can also be found in my shop) and through mentoring and advice from Handmade in Britain’s found Piyush Suri, I developed my latest collection Stonewell!
My time on the show was amazing, from meeting all the other amazing crafters and also walking away with the tools and tips to get my brand off the ground! I hope you all tune in and enjoy the show!
